Tough way to make an easy living...
שני, יוני 16, 2009 22:46Sigh... another few brutal days of online poker, despite profitting.
After those sickening hands on Sunday, I got right back on the horse the next day.
On Monday I played all day, from the 2pms through the 9pms...
I took 10th in the afternoon Stars 100R, losing 99<AJ for a huge pot, J on the turn.
I took 12th in afternoon FTP 100R 6max, losing AK<44 for a huge pot, brick city.
I took 29th in the Stars Nightly Hundred Grand, despite being chipleader with 40 to go... puntttt.
Then tonight, i started at 7:30 with the FTP 100 cubed and PS 50r turbo...
I took 12th in the 50r turbo, chopping 55 v AK when board runs out 6789...T. then shoving bvb into JJ.
I took 35th in the Nightly Hundred Grand, losing a brutal huge pot when my KK got cracked on the river, then running 88 into QQ.
And just now, I took 7th in the Super Tuesday... http://www.pokerhand.org/?4371537. Sigh. I ran very good to even make it that far (JJ>QQ, amongst others) but that's just a brutal way to go out seventh when I really thought I was primed for a top 3 finish, finally.
Again, I leave a shit-ton of money on the table, and again, there's not much I could've done differently. I can at least take solace in that... but wow.
This is getting painful.
Back for more tomorrow, probably my last day of grinding before I head out to Vegas on Monday, depending on if I decide to play on Sunday or not.
Gotta break through eventually...

So you lost a bunch of coinflips .. big deal.
What about the "shit-ton" of flips you needed to win, in order to reach the final 30 to begin with? Just sayin'.
RE: kickyourace
Thanks! I really appreciate the support and good words, but I'm not interested.
RE: Horoeschio
It's a blog. The point is to document and update you guys on the way poker is going, with an interesting paragraph or two at a time. Do you want me to start posting every race I run from the first hand on?
I mentioned that, especially in the Super Tuesday, I ran very good to make it as far as I did. When I won the $163 a few weeks ago, I listed the suckouts it took for me to beat Bax heads-up... etc. You can be sure that when I hit a huge score, I will note the times I got especially lucky. You can also be sure that when a huge score evades me, I will note the times I got especially unlucky.
My last two posts have been complain-y because my last few sessions have gone as such. That's just the way it is.

Any chance you'd put a few games up for us to back you on Chipmeup.com??? Never see you there and always enjoy your games.
