Two months of madness...

FTOPS starts tomorrow.

WCOOP starts in a month.

In other words, OMFGPLZLETMERUNGOODFORTHENEXT5 0DAYS.

An FTOPS win very narrowly eluded me last time around (3rd in the 129 KO PLO) as it seems to every time they run the series. Looking over the schedule, I've got high hopes for:

8/7/09: $215 1R1A NL
8/8/09: $535 PLO 6max and $109+R NL
8/9/09: $322 NL Sunday
8/10/09: $1k NL w/ ante
8/12/09: $322+R NL 6max
8/15/09: $2500 NL 2-day
8/16/09: $535 Main Event

...and uh, every other event.

EVERYONE who plays these says things like "I'm playing great poker right now, so I really like my chances," or "I GUARANTEE I'm gonna take one down."

If this year has taught me anything, it's that there are no guarantees in poker besides the prize pools. So, all I'm gonna do is play every day I can, and treat every event like it's the last tournament I'll ever play. Seeing the FTOPS runs that some people have had (like BeL0WaB0Ve and Halfrek)... I dunno, it just looks like fun. I want that. = (

Anyways, I'll keep you guys posted on my results as they come... unless I do awful, in which case you'll probably hear from me next in a couple weeks.
