PLO.net is on Auction

Thought I'd let the poker community know that the internet name PLO.net is on auction which ends in less 27 hours.

The reserve range is just $500-$999. The current highest bid is $567 but the reserve hasn't been met.

If you are interested in the domain name, which of course stands for Pot Limit Omaha, then I would suggest you click here and follow the auction which will end tomorrow!

This is the best opportunity to buy the domain at a bargain price or fair market value and it the best domain after PLO.com which you would need over $100,000 to buy probably (dotCOMs are usually worth around 10 times a dotNET if not way more).

149th MTT Win

Just won my 149th Multi Table Tournament by coming 1st out of 279 to qualify for the Pokerstars PCA Freeroll Fantasy Grand Final in December.

Got cripped to just 1BB (12k) 3 handed after losing 55 v A4 but then went on a rush and mopped up all 418,500 chips!

Just one more to reach 150 MTT wins! Average field size of my 149 wins is 126.

How Much is Luck Worth?

The domain Luck.com recently sold for $675,000, so now we know how much good fortune is worth!

Today I built WorldCupTickets.mobi and I'm planning on moving hosts for MillionDollarPokerPage.com as Yahoo sucks. The last straw was being unable to fix a database on there so I think that is the end of the WordPress blog I was experimenting with. I updated HighStakes.eu a little too and been doing some work on my first .me domain, a geo domain I bought after reading about the success of Missouri.me.

Focusing the theme for World Cup Tickets on football (real football, the one my team, Italy, are world champions in!), but the domain is great for all kinds of tickets, with a 'World Cup' kind of brand. The mobi extension was the only one left really. Might be okay though as more people have a mobile phone in some parts of Africa than bank accounts, and they use mobiles as electronic wallets to pay for stuff.

In other poker domain news, fellow poker player and domainer, Dutch Boyd was featured on a domaining blog. You can read more about it here: Dutch Boyd, WSOP Bracelet Winner, Part-Time Domainer. His domain portfolio is very good and he owns quite a few poker domain gems.

Poker wise I just won my 148th MTT by coming 1st out of 31 in a private game. I've hardly been playing but I aim to reach 150 all time wins before the end of the year.

That's about it really, my mates are planning a trip to Vegas for the WSOP FT. Not sure if I'm going yet though but would love to if I can.

September Summary

Long time since my last post. So what's been happening?

Well, after 11 winning months in a row, which was my second best ever streak, I've now had the worst ever streak - 3 losing months out of the last 4 months (my worst before was 3 losing months out of 5)!

As a result, since I've been cashing out also, my $ bankroll has taken a major hit! It is now less than 10% of what it was before I went to Vegas. FML!

Part of the problem is that I haven't been playing much either - mainly because I have been running so bad, getting fuct on the river and losing about 90% of pre-flop all-ins. So, I've spent time developing some poker domains such as PUApoker.com, ParmaPoker.com and PalermoPoker.com as well as 4 geo-domains.

I'll probably update HighStakes.eu and PokerUni.com soon too, I updated DaMatrix.com and if anybody is interested in buying domains I have a list of names available for purchase at DaMatrix.com/poker-domains.

Event 3 - European Championships

Finished 26/172 in Event 3 (£330 NL) of the European Championships at the Vic, London. Lost the key pot when I open raised with AA and BB decided to re-steal all-in with K7. I insta-called and the board gave my opponent quads! Lost QQ v KK shortly after. 17 got paid with 1st place receiving just over £16k.

Domain wise I developed InstantCasinoMoney.com which I will improve when I have time.
