Introduction of me

Hi everybody!

Ok, my name is Per Hagen and I just turned 34. I'm a Norwegian who lives in the suburbs outside Oslo with my wife and daugther.

....Fast forwarding trough my Bachelor of Science Business - Communications degree and career as a national sales executive for Norway's biggest telecommunications company....

Late in 2006 I founded Poker Icons which is an agency for professional poker players from all over the world. Now, you might wonder how I came up with such an idea and the answer is actually quite simple! I noticed that the industry missed a "buffer" between the players and the sponsoring partners. I mean, there was 1 big US agency already out there - but there was nobody here in Europe!

At the same time, the market shifted focus very much towards Europe and the European players were really making themselves noticed in the big poker events.

I also had some very concrete ideas on how it could be done, and I wanted to try out my ideas...

The first player I really wanted to sign was Annette Obrestad, and as luck would have it, she put her faith in my hands (thx A! ) - and we all know the rest of that story (). From there on the agency got off to a flying start and we soon found ourselves with 31 players from all corners of the world signed to the agency.

Oh well, thats a brief introduction..
