PokerStars this week is getting ready to break yet another World Record. This Sunday December 28th PokerStars are trying to get 35,000 players registered into one Texas Holdem Tournament. In 2007 PokerStars broke the Guinness World Record for the ‘Largest Online Poker Tournament’ when 20,000 players played in a tournament online. 2007 was a big year, and PokerStars are trying to end 2008 with an incredible series of promotions.
In addition to being a World Record attempt, PokerStars are throwing in a special bonus for the tournament with a massive $500,000 guarantee being attached to it as well.
In addition to this ground breaking event, PokerStars are running a host of other great promotions all week, including an incredible $2.5 Million Guaranteed Sunday Million this week.
