Switching from NL and PLO to limit

Poniedziałek, Luty 23, 2009 14:31

I have switched game from NL and PLO over to limit games the last couple of week. I play almost every game now, just in limit. Have been playing 8-game and HORSE aswell as stud, stud8 and holdem.

I feel like I have found myself as a mixed-games limitplayer since I tend to get bored if I play one game for too long time at once. And the second and maybe most important thing I like about the limit games is ofcourse that I make way more money Smile

In limit games I feel I have so much more control on my variance, since its easier to control the size of the pot. That makes me feel comfortable playing higher limits. I just have to tighten up and play solid hands. People are calling you down with all sorts of ridicolous hands. Just booked a session 2/4 limit holdem where i ended up winning $135 during 145 hands. Ofcourse I might be running good, but since I better can control how much money I have to put in with marginal hands I believe I can avoid big downswings way better than in NL and PLO.

Just hoping this trend is going to continue. Until next time...
