Well that’s poker. It are the roots of poker, and poker is a culture, an attitude, a way of life! Keep it that way!

My interest for poker started when I saw Rob Hollink winning the EPT Final 2005 in Monte Carlo. I did not understand the rules but just watching the game on television was fun enough! After that I took a small step into the rules of poker and my first online hands were played. In play money it was, and of course that got boring after a while. Let’s get started with the real work!

Unfortunately I lost my first deposit quite fast at the limit tables I played and I realized that poker is a lot more than just ‘doing something.’ I started to study the game, the rules and the strategies. At that time the first Dutch book, Poker Unlimited written by Jelle and Merijn, was published which is all about playing online No Limit Hold’em cashgames. After reading this book I immediately switched to No Limit Hold’em and made a new deposit to start from scratch on with a clean sheet! And results didn’t stay far away!

Since the book I never lost money at the end of a month play and my bankroll grew bigger, month after month. Soon I switched from 10NL to 25NL and some months later to the 50NL. Since some months I am a regular at the 100NL cash tables now and I am planning to play the 200NL in near future.

Also I am acting quite well in the tournaments which are getting more and more of my interest since I have read the Harrington trilogy. In the meantime a won about twenty tournaments with a best result winning a $2500gtd earning $808 for the first place.
However since I play the 100NL tables I start to play bigger events with bigger price money. So it is a matter of time to break the record and cross the thousand dollar border!

On this blog I will post some interesting hands I played, the monsters I flopped of course, but also the ones that I lost. Also I will update the page with some tournament results and some interesting own posts about strategy and plays!
