So ive been grinding nonstop since Sunday for the p5s PLB contest. Have a couple FTs, 4th in 109 turbo and today i got 5th in 100r. Still very disappointing as I lost huge flips in both to bust. Good news is that cash games are going well this week, up about 7k so far. And, two of my horses just choppd the 60k GTD on FTP. Ispewchips and Croll103 just choppd HU for 19k and 14k respectively. Very nice for me

Still feeling good bout my game, although it hasnt come together at the end N. Alright, with FTOPs starting yesterday its back to the grind. 500 shootout for now.

So Im here, ready to play the $555 today. Last night was another total bust for me online. Was CL of the 162 on stars during the day and the 50r. Lost AA to A3 on K83 board for 100k in 162, then lost KK to AJ and QQ to A4 in 50r to bust as well. I busted 34th in the 100r on FTP losing a flip as well. I lost a huge pot in the 1k on UB, I raised 99 from hijack at 200 400 with 14k behind. The BB flats and the flop comes out 875, a really good flop for my hand. I lead for 1600 and the BB who was laggy and bad makes it 4400. I ship it in and he calls with 78o, and I cant resuck. Just seems Im losing every single deep pot when the money is on the line. Im officially in my worst downswing of all time right now. However, I think im playing my best poker right now. Just gotta run better. Ill try to keep updates on my live play the next few days. Im playing the 555$ today the 1k tomorrow, and the 5k main on Saturday. If your there, come say hi.

Mtts online have still been frustrating, with very little success in the past week or so. These tournament downswings are common and have given me a little more motivation to work on my cash game skills. I recently put some money on Cake Poker and the other night decided to play a little 10/20 NL HU vs an unknown player. The match turned into a steamroll very quickly after the villain decided to 5bet allin for a full stack on my first 4bet preflop. His holdings were 49ss vs my AQcc. My hand held and from there I ended up winning over 7k off him in about 1hr and half. Another interesting hand occurred as well. Since Cake hand histories arent up to par yet, ill just type the action. My stack was about $5500 vs Villains $2300. I raised the button with t9o to 60 pre(my normal raise was either 40-60 mixing up my whole range) Villain calls. Flop was 99J and he checkd to me where I bet $100, he insta raised to $320. I decided to flat that bet and make him lead big on the turn. He did exactly that by firing $600, leaving himself about 1300 behind. I decided to jam to get value from overpairs..big jacks or straight draws. He calld off the rest with T8 and I was able to hold for a $4600 pot. Then a few hands later I picked up AA and I raised the button to $60, he raised to $220 and I decided to 4bet to $550. He jammed KTo and I held for another 4k pot. The next day I played another opponent and won about 5k off him. Those sessions with a few other limit sessions, and a 25/50 cap session totaled up to about 18k profit for the week. I am in the car with my gf Kristin and my parents on the way back from South Carolina. My brother plays left tackle for the Vanderbilt Commodores football team, so we traveled to go see the game and my grandparents that live near there as well. It was a heartbreaking loss 14-10 but thats SEC football for you. Any team can beat any other team on any given day...Im hoping to get home for the night schedule of sunday mtts. Dont quite trust the aircard and the remote highways to ensure a good connection the whole way.

So basically poker is still sucking ass lately for me. Let me specify, tournament poker has been horrid still. I managed to get 10th in the Sunday 500 on Pokerstars this past sunday. Huge sigh after being the chipleader for most of the tournament. Unfortunately took my first flip for my tourney life and lost it. 55 vs ak. That was definitely a low point, but I was very content with how i played. I felt like I really played well and chipped up nicely without having to take any flips. Tournament poker really sucks sometimes....

Anyway, I have pickd up a new game in the past 2 months. Limit Holdem. I hopped on a 15/30 game awhile back and really started to enjoy it. First off its 6max, and their is a ton of action so it definitely keeps my attention. It also surprises me how many fish are in that game. Ive taken a shot at 50 100, but I could tell a huge difference in the skill level. I think I can be more profitable at the 15/30 and 30/60 level. And so far Im a huge winner. Im playing more cash lately, because Ive just gotten so frustrated with MTTs. I have started playing smaller sessions of MTTs to really concentrate on the tables and my specific lines in each hand. Hopefully I will start to run a little better soon.

I just did an interview with pokernews.com last night, so that should be online soon as well. Tomorrow I am doing the PokerXfactor podcast with Rizen and Mscell, and am really looking forward to it.

Poker right now is still extremely frustrating for me, but its a part of being a professional. No job is going to go smoothly at all times. There have been good days or a few good MTTs, but nothing substantial as a whole in the past two weeks. I went to my brothers fball game vs Ole Miss and unfortunately they played terrible and lost but my brother played tremendous. Many scouts have him pegged as a minimum 2nd round pick this spring. So thats very exciting for him, and Im also very proud. They play Army this weekend, and I am flying up there on Friday for the game. Should be a good time, I have never been to Westpoint before. Anyway, as far as live schedules go for this month, I will be playing the WSOP circuit in Southern Indiana during the last week of the month. My hopes are high this month, so I will be playing quite a bit.

So recently i have been grinding my ass off for Wcoop with little to no results until this past Sunday. I busted the WCOOP Main event in level 2 which was extremely disappointing. An extremely aggressive laggy european player flatted a large 3bet preflop when i had AA and floppd a straight with 9T. Fortunately i did final table the Cake 100k GTD Major only to get 4th in an extremely unlucky cooler. I started the hand with about 1.4million at 12.5k 25k blinds, I raised the button with JJ and got 3bet. Obviously I am never folding JJ in this spot, the BB had KK and had me covered. The pot was for 85% of chips in play, and to top it off that player DIDNT EVEN WIN. SIGH. Oh well, coolers happen.

Last night, I made 3 FTS. I got 3 handed in the 109 40k on Stars, and got coolered once again TT to JJ. During that same time I chopped the 100 cubed on FTP with Da Professional. We came into HU even in chips and I was content chopping because I was playin multiple FTS at once and its hard to concentrate on playing your best in that situation. The last FT was the 75k on FTP which i came into as CL, and busted in 8th place..aslgkjagadfhlafkhjh. Lost a huge pot where the button shoved 150k at 5k 10k and i calld with AA. His j9o got there with a flush on river..Then lost TT to AJhh to bust. Disappointing obviously, but thats the game. I played my best, and sometimes the cards just dont fall your way. My friend and horse, Eric Nagel (highlite11) is in town to grind with me this week. We are goin out to dinner tonight, then we will be playing a night session. Good things to come, my downswing is gonna turn into a massive heater

So i just won the 150r on FTP for about 64k after a 3way chop. Im kind of regretting the chop deal, but I know it could of gone another way as well. Locking up over 60k is still very nice, and def winning it outright is an added bonus. Its been a really tough last month or so, and I have been grinding my ass off to get in the black. I really think i played a super strong mtt, but still had a few mistakes. I think im definitely going to do a video on that tourney for PXF. Lots of discussion.

Anyway, im gonna go enjoy another Sunday major win..NUMBER 5!!!

Just finishing my last session of the month and just wanna forget it ever happend. By far my worst poker month of all time. Even running terribly in cash. Good news is my p5s podcast went well and my first video is up on PXF.

I think im gonna play a day session tomorrow. I feel like im in the zone when i start, but by the end i end up so tilted that i hate poker. I may just take a few days off before WCOOP.

Alright so it begins. Shitty month so far, and im going to grind all day and night for the next two days. Gonna make something happen before month end.
