PS toernooi $2.20 6max
March 20, 2008Vandaag speel ik het $2.20 toernooi van kwart over 7. Het is een short-handed toernooi. Hoewel ik meer ervaring met FR heb, vind ik dit wel een aardig toernooi, ws gewoon omdat je meer handjes kunt spelen. Normaal post ik geen handjes van toernooien, maar het loopt nu (5 minuten na break 1) zo lekker dat ik dat maar eens ga doen.
Hier dubbel ik vrij vroeg in t toernooi, gast maakt een mooie "ik heb een hoge flush"-bluff:

GVD, en ik f*k t helemaal op met een mislukte bluff. Inmiddels down to 4,7k. Eigen schuld. Kerel callt in ieder geval een AI voor 15k met A9 op een board met 2 azen, terwijl ik preflop raisete en 3 barrelde. Nice call van hem i guess.

Heb het uiteindelijk nog redelijk weten uit te zingen, met swings van 4k weer terug naar 13k weer terug naar 4k weer terug naar 9k. Vlieg er dan uit in een blindbattle. Top pair met weak kicker vs top pair met redelijke kicker. 114e. Zonde dat er zoveel meer inzat.Read more: Stars

Kan het erger?
March 15, 2008Je hebt van die dagen dat het niet zo loopt. Vandaag is zo'n dag, maar dan wel de ergste die je je kan voorstellen. Tis ook niet dat het op 1 site niet lekker gaat, nee, én Stars én Everest én Titan, allemaal drama. Misschien dat ik wat handjes op zoek, maar hier alvast wat voorbeelden.
Titan $3 rebuy: In het begin tripple ik omdat ik trips flop. Tijdje later krijg ik AQ op de BB. Ik call een 5BB raise en flop top pair Q. Ik push en villain callt met AK en rivert zn 3outer. Met nog 1,4k left opent UTG met 3BB en ik call op de BB en flop 2pair KT. Ik check, villain pusht en ik call. Hij opent AJ en hit zn gutshot op de river. Als het zo gaat ga ik echt niet rebuyen.
Zowel bij Everest als Stars zijn mn azen nog geen een keer blijven staan in de turbo's. Pfffff..... En tooch blijven doorspelen.. ;-) Of als ik trips flop, rivert villain runner-runner-flush. Of villain flopt een flush. Al die dingen die je wel eens meemaakt, maar dat op 1 dag in een tijdsbestek van amper een uur????

En dan toch de enige ITM op stars: 1e plek! Netto resultaat vandaag is 0 ofzo. -
Moeizaam
March 01, 2008Het gaat nu echt een poos slecht. Wordt geriverd en ge-1-2-3-outerd aan alle kanten. De meeste maffe calls van donks met niets en mij dan toch weer outsucken. Dra-ma-tisch. Natuurlijk gevolg is dat je slechter gaat spelen, domme hero-calls maken met top pair terwijl flush van villain zo obv is, etc.
Misschien is het dan toch weer zo'n zieke upswing geweest de eerste 60 potjes. De 18-man's turbo's lopen al helemaal niet. Zeker de $3,75 niet. 1x een tweede plek, terwijl ik mega CL had HU, maar 3x dik voorsta PF bij AI en ze alle3 verlies. Voor de rest komt het geld niet eens in de buurt daar.
*edit* Zul je net zien dat ik net op een 2e plek finish in een $3.75. Lol. Had mn BR ook wel ff nodig.Toevallig dan vanochtend wel mn 7e $1.10 gewonnen. Maar daar had ik ook wel extreem de kaarten mee. Check dit:
