Having problems when downloading and installing TonyGPoker software?

Some people complain about the problems when downloading and installing TonyG Poker software. Some antivirus programs recognize the install file as “a variant of Win32/Casino potentially unwanted application” and do not allow downloading the full file. Of course, then the TonyG software cannot be downloaded and the new account cannot be created.

There is a way to overcome this issue by simply turning off the antivirus software. It must then be turned on again after the installation is over to protect your computer from real viruses and security threads. (This way was tested by me personally with the computer protected by ESET NOD 32 antivirus).

Some users also suggest cleaning the browser cookies.

This problem persists not only with the Tony G Poker software users, but also with those trying to install such notable poker rooms as Titan Poker, William Hill poker, Bet365 Poker, SunPoker, ChiliPoker, Poker770, VC Poker, Expect and many others which belong to iPoker network.

Here is the official note from the vendor of this software about the issue:

Let us assure that our software does not come bundled with any kind of ad-ware or spyware/viruses. Common anti-spyware and antivirus programs are known to give so-called „false positives” from time to time. Sometimes these programs for example may not like some advanced features which are used for integrating different payment methods into the cashier of the game client. When we are able to reproduce the same issue at our end our security team will contact the anti-virus software vendor and ask them to remove this false positive. Usually this will be corrected once the antispyware or antivirus software company has had a chance to issue an update to its definition database.
Until then it is recommended to add the problematic casino components/files, or even better - the whole casino installation folder to the ignore/exclusion list of those antivirus and spyware programs. We can assure the player that this does not hold any threat to the player’s security. Detailed instructions for this can certainly be found from the antispyware/antivirus manual, searching from Google or by contacting their support services.

Some advice regarding the TonyGPoker $30 Free promo

The Tony G Poker $30 FREE promo has already started an a lot of people cannot get their money just because they did something wrong.

The first advice is to read terms and conditions VERY CAREFULLY. If you spend some time reading at least the first 5 paragraphs, you will understand that we need to see both your ID and your face in the photo that you send us, what email address should be provided etc.

The main problem is the picture validation. Some users try adding just any of their pictures, but that's just not how it works. We must clearly see your face and the document. Your picture and your name in the document interest us the most. Not the country, some code or the expiration date, just the name, surname and your face.

We need real documents, not some library permissions or employee cards with your name in someone's hand writing. It should be either your passport or the drivers license.

The photos also cannot contain your ID only or you without the document in your hand. I have already posted a blog about correct photos for a similar promo. These guidelines apply to the Tony G Promo as well.

REMEMBER! You must enter the same email address that you used during your TonyGPoker account registration. We need your email in order to transfer the money, so should there be any mistakes, we may not be able to transfer you the $30 bonus. This situation might occur if you add your nickname and not the username (TGPxxxxxxxx). Please be very careful when adding your email, that’s why you must do it twice.

Also please check if your country is eligible for the promo. We kindly regret that our community members from Estonia, China, Turkey, Israel, Serbia, USA and Bulgaria cannot participate in this money giveaway. Unfortunately, these are the TonyGPoker regulations, not ours.

However, if you made a mistake, do not worry. Just find the first email we've sent you in your mailbox (if you cannot find it, please check your Spam box) and you press the edit link which is valid for 30 days. It will allow you to edit your registration data. Of course, we see all the changes in your registration form, so do not change your nickname too much as we might suspect you being a cheater and deny the free money!

Hopefully your registration will now be successful. We will try to transfer your money with as little delay as possible.
