turning the corner
August 04, 2008i know it is the first of many but i really feel like i have turned a corner with my play in the last week. my play has been incredibly consistent (minus one 2 hour tilt session) and more importantly i am picking up my mistakes as i make them. it feels amazing to play. ive found, however, i am a little gun shy.extended sessions would help build my roll and my knowledge but i am afraid to push it. i want to play at my peak everytime i open a session. i dont want to loose this groove im in.
ive made more in the last week than i make at my day job (which isn't saying alot) and i feel really confident that within a year or so i could be playing this game for a living. (long term goal)
