1500 LHE shootout

Had a decent table draw in the 1500 LHE shootout. One player never showed up and got blinded out and some Asian kid that played like he had sold %400 of himself gave me a lot of chips early. Also 3 internet limit holdem specialists including IanJ who is at my table in every single LHE tourney I play always. When it got down to 3 handed there was an Italian guy who was playing very tight and was very short and seemed to be a nonfactor as he only had a few k, internet guy who was hyper aggressive with a slight chiplead over me, and myself. The shortstack really went off and kept winning pots off bigstack and I kept up and the Italian guy and I somehow got to HU pretty quickly and evenish in chips. Seemed like a pretty ideal match up as he was letting me steal way too much.. but I called him down too light when he always showed up w the nuts. At some point he tells me he didn't know the tourney was limit and would have never played if he knew as he hadn't ever played LHE. We somehow go back and forth multiple times until I win after 3am when he 3 bets when I button raise my 2d7d (raising 99% of hands) at 1500-3k (800-1500 blinds). flop 239 dd, riv offfsuit 7 and I raise him allin and beat his QQ.
Anyways.. dunno why I ended up writing a novel. Not many tourneys left, plan on playing events 52, 53, 54, 56 and of course the main. Drawing dead in the POTY race but whatever.. happy to get my 6th cash tonight.
