Feeling a little under the weather lately and running/playing bad combo catching up to me, probably taking a few days off this week to regroup. Lost the 10k plo early after getting unlucky in a big pot then playing my short stack terribly. Just busted the 5k shootout in about 5 minutes and am back at the apt. for a quick nap before 5pm tourney+ Steve Cowley(Rabscuttle) final table rail.
5k SO hand I lost most my chips, I feel I kinda fudged the bet sizing in this hand but dunno how much it mattered.. Marco Trainello with like 13.5k raises utg.. MP flats.. I raise 2100 from sb w KK, Marco calls, MP folds. Flop T23 rainbow, I bet 2600 he calls. Turn A.. i chk, he shoves 9k instantly. Don't really feel like I have the best hand.. but also don't see him doing that with a set, or how the A can improve his hand. Never really played w him so don't know what kind of hands hes calling me with preflop but I figure a lot of medium pairs and I just gave him a big opening. I tend to call a lot in big pots when stuff doesn't addup and am right most of the time, but this wasnt one of them as he had AK and I was crippled. Wish I had folded now even more as Efro (who was at my table along w Mark Seif and Aaron Been) txtd me to tell me Mark and Aaron were going at it loudly about AP/cheating/etc.. sounded amusing.
Also congrats to Jeffrey Lisandro for winning a 2nd bracelet this yr also, I'm going to have to win 3 to even make the POTY race interesting I guess.
