  Chilipoker would like to invite you to the first European Short Handed Poker Championship. This unique event is the first ever totally short-handed poker festival. Every tournament including the online satellites and live super satellite will be 6 players maximum per table.

  Are you ready for a more aggressive game of poker? Short Handed poker is normally defined as a table that has less than 6 people. A normal hold'em ring game has 10 people. Choosing the right starting hands when the game is short-handed is very different from selecting playable hands for a full game. With short-handed poker you can pick on weaker players more often!

  The Main Event is €1000+€100 with a Guaranteed €150,000 prize pool and will be held on the 4th - 7th of June 2009 at the Ballsbridge Inn Dublin Ireland. The capacity for the main event is 300 players and online satellites will be starting soon, and all the side events and cash games will be 6 players maximum, which means this really is not one to be missed.

  Chilipoker will be running satellites and super satellites from the 23rd of April 2009 with packages worth $2500 to attended the inaugural European Short-Handed Poker Championships. The packages include the main event buy in, flights and accommodation.

  How many seats does each satellites give for the super satellites?
  All depends on the satellite you play, the number of players and the total buy-in collected.

  For example the $25+2.5 satellite stage 1 offers 1 seat to the ECOOP #2 for every $215 collected while the $100+9 satellite stage 1 offers 1 sear to teh ECOOP #5 for every $800 collected.
