The importance of the Tournament ID on your Event
September 03, 2009If you create an online event, it's a great idea to include the Tournament ID - This is the unique number that poker site gives the tournament. If you include this on your event, then people will be able to easily search for your tournament and rail you at the table.
Also, we now show all the other people on ChipMeUp who are playing the same event - which uses the Tournament ID to search the database.
We also allow sellers to change their Tournament ID any time before the event actually starts. You can easily edit this value in-place right on the Event Details page.
