Maniac Players - A Texas Hold’em Species
ספטמבר 26, 2008The most terrifying of all are the maniac players; they march through the card room with the sole intent of turning small players into skeletons in a few plays.
They produce a faint hissing sound and have a distinct odor. These prey, merge and unite to form one great living creature, the Maniac Player.
Hollywood’s images of mammals and humans fleeing before them are mostly imaginations run wild. In truth, while the Maniacs advance across the card room, simply step-aside and watch them pass by, this may take several hours.
Or you can clear out of the card room with your chip stack, although, when you have that big hand, exterminate them with one swift move.
The Maniacs try and wound their opponents badly and squeeze the last cheques (chips) out of everyone. WOW! What a card room!
I always carry a large bug spray can with me when I enter any card room.
