Een eerste sessie vanochtend met de slaap nog in mn ogen werkte ik ongewassen af naar een winst van $27 na een uiterst moeizaam begin.

Maar met een paar goede en sterke dubbele espresso's vocht ik me gedisciplineerd naar de winst. In een volgend verslag zal ik een paar typische handjes plaatsen.

Nu wordt het tijd dat ik hier de zooi even ga opruimen, wat ga eten, douchen en nog wat andere alledaagse niet zo interessante zaken ga doen. tIs ten slotte hemelvaartsdag................ .............

De komende twee weken ben ik lekker vrij. Een vakantiebestemming heb ik niet. Barcelona was een wens maar helaas ging dat niet door. Natuurlijk ga ik buiten genieten als het zonnetje schijnt, de temperatuur aangenaam is en die vieze wind het af laat weten. Aangezien het Hollandse weer nogal wisselvallig is, ben ik van plan om veel, heel veel te gaan pokeren.

Ik ga dat ook volgens een bepaald plan doen. Het zogenoemde SIX mAx FUND zoals ik het voor het gemak maar ga noemen. Op http://www.pokerenalsbijbaan.nl las ik een nogal simpel artikeltje. Maar bij nadere bestudering en wat oefening beviel dit eigenlijk gelijk. Gisteren heb ik er wat mee geëxperimenteerd en in schema gezet en vandaag, 1 mei, ga ik er mee aan de slag.

Ik heb er wat aanpassingen in aangebracht. Daarnaast stond er ook nog een artikeltje over de lichte 3-bet. Dat past uitstekend in de SIX mAx FUND en nemen we dus ook mee.

De SIX mAx FUND is gebasseerd op puur positie spel, strakke starthanden op elke positie, open je de pot dan raise je 4x de BB en meer als er limpers zijn. Heel belangrijk is dat je de pot opent! En dat je na de flop hoe dan ook doorbet.

Daarnaast wil ik een nieuwe pokerdatabase in Pokertracker aanleggen. Ik moet alleen nog even uitzoeken hoe dat moet. Ik wil met een schone lei beginnen en kijken hoe ik de maand mei doorkom. En dan vooral kijken hoe ik in positie scoor en natuurlijk nog een paar andere zaken.

Wat betreft mijn bankroll management zal ik onder de $500 niet hoger spelen dan $25 NL, boven de $500 speel ik $50 NL en boven de $1000 natuurlijk $100 NL allemaal 6 max.

Na een paar dagen en de nodige ervaring wil ik meer tafels gaan openen. Ik heb een labtop dus vier tafels is het maximum maar we beginnen in ieder geval niet meer dan twee en dan drie en vier. Dat moet ik allemaal nog even zien.

Voor de fun en de afwisseling ga ik natuurlijk ook mijn favoriete S&Gtjes spelen maar de hoofdzaak wordt toch de SIX mAx FUND.

Ik zat hier op de BB en dacht aan een steal van de Button. Dit had hij al een paar maal gedaan. Mijn read was dus totaal verkeerd!

De mening en het commentaar op de fora was dat mijn preflop raise te laag was. Deze moest minimaal 4xBB zijn of hoger. Voor de rest was iedereen het er wel over eens dat dit gewoon pech was en kan gebeuren.

Moeizaam, moeizaam haalde ik de finaletafel met een kreupele stack. Ja, en toen ging het lopen en won ik voor de tweede keer een S&G van $33 met 27 spelers. Toch weer goed voor $300. Lekker voor het slapen gaan!
