New Feature: Mobile my.pokernews.com
July 11, 2008I would like to introduce a new way of reading MY.pokernews.com via your mobile phone. We have launched the Mobile my.PN version http://my.pokernews.com/m. So far there are only few options available:
- Reading&writing your private messages
- Reading&writing your blogs
- Watching pictures (no adding pictures feature available yet)
- Reading profiles

Of course new features will be brought to your cellphones soon.I would like your help as well. Please let me know what other information of PokerNews and my.PN can be added to the mobile version. What other features you would like to see here.

New feature: Friends Activity
June 27, 2008Today we have launched simple but useful tool for each of you - the friends activity box. This box allow you to see which of your friends are online, What were the last blog posts of them and what are the latest Friend's pictures.

Blog and picture statistics (UPDATED)
June 15, 2008New feature - blog and your photos stats is introduced. It is still very simple, but anyway it will help you to see how popular your blog is and where you got the visitors from.
Blog statisticsIf you click in My Menu>Statistics you see the blog views for the present month. Views are divided to the Friends, Members and Genaral views. Also you can see how much comments your blog entries have.
If you click on "referrer" tab you can see where the visitors came from. Sort by the period of time, for example 'This week" or "This month".
I can assure we will develop this feature in future.
UPDATE: we have launched the update of the statistics. Now you can see the nicknames of those members who have visited your blog. Just look below your picture stats.

New feature - Invite the friend
May 22, 2008We just launched the new feature in my.Pokernews - Friend invite form (to reach it you need to go to your FRIENDS list and click "Invitation form" link in the intro text). Now you can invite your friends to join my.pokernews community by filling up the simple form. When the friend creates account following the special link in invitational email, he is automatically added to your friends list. You are added to his list as well.
Friend Invite formAfter your friends are invited you can view if they signed up or not in History of invitations page.
Later we will improve this feature making public lists of members who invited most people monthly. Of course, most active ones will get the prizes.

BlogRoll - Links to any site you want
April 30, 2008Hello,
I want to introduce you the brand new feature of my.Pokernews - BlogRoll. BlogRoll is the collection of link you would like to recommend to your blog readers. They can be to you friends blog, Pokernews site, any other blog etc.
Please do not put links to Porno sites and other inappropriate resources.
Blogroll Management is easy
You can add your links simply going to BlogRoll in the menu and clicking Add Link button.You can add up to 10 links only. Links marked as favourite will go on top and will be marked with the star. Also links can have the short description. We limited it to 100 characters. Once you add at least 1 blogroll entry, you can find the blogroll box in your blog and "Manage Blogroll list" link. It is visible for you only and it leads to the Blogroll page where you can add more links or edit the added ones.
Please use the links well!

April 25, 2008The end of ads-free my.Pokernews has come.
All the frequent members know our deals anyway, so I do not think they will see something new. But please believe me the banners are for those people who are reading YOUR blog and still not the members of my.Pokernews. They must get advantage in the first place and know what we can offer.
Also let me tell you frankly - banners are to get better deals for you

New tool - NOTIFICATIONS
February 22, 2008Hello, dear MY PN members,
It's been a while since my last blog entry. Sorry for such a long silence. I will improve and will find some spare time to present new features of MY.PN. This time I want to introduce a new feature - NOTIFICATIONS. Notifications has been designed to see what is happening in your friends blog or any part of your interest. For example you wrote a comment in a blog and want to see the reactions to your comment. You can subscribe to this post comments and get a notification by email or PM every time a new comment appears or once a day.
Subscribe Page buttonAll you need to do is to click the "Subscribe this page" button by the avatar (subscribes all page) or...
You can subscribe the comments clicking "Actions" button in the bottom of every post. Then you will see "Subscribe comments" link.
Actions listThese notifications will appear in your notifications list. You can see it when you go to the my.pokernews.com page (you must be logged in).
Another small but useful feature is user menu by the avatar in the blog. If you click "Show more" link you will be able to subscribe the blog, add it to various social bookmark networks such as Digg, Bloglines etc., send Private Message to this person.

Blog language change
September 05, 2007Hello dear Bloggers,
I have noticed that some of you still write in your language, but these blog posts appear in English blogs list. This is big misunderstanding because your folks cannot find your blog.
This situation can be changed only setting your language correctly. I will guide Step by Step how to change your language.
Click on "New Post" button and there you will see what language you are writing in. If it is not your language, please click on "Add/edit languages" link which leads to your My Profile page - http://my.pokernews.com/members/profile/?show=info
Choose language from the drop down listThen choose the language you want to add from LEFT column and click the button "Add":
Choose language from the left list and click "Add" buttonYou can add several languages to the RIGHT column and move them up and down if you want to change the alphabetic order of your languages.
If you want to remove not needed language you simply check the language in the RIGHT column and click the button "Remove".
Select language and click Remove button to remove it from listWhen these changes are done you just need to click SAVE button in the bottom of this area (Password area has separate "SAVE" button.
IMPORTANT!: After setting your language please go through ALL your past posts and check if the language is OK.

Advanced My.PokerNews search launched

we have launched the advanced member search http://my.pokernews.com/members/?show=advancedsearch
You can go to members and in the bottom just click "Advanced search" link. You will be able to switch to Simple search any time.
Criterias you can choose for your search:
Country
Online/offline status
Language
Activity (active in 14,30 days etc)
Sex
Birth date
Room nickname
Messenger
Have blog or not
Have photo or notIt will be helpful to find some people which have the same interests/locations as you. Of course we will develop it and make more exhaustive.
