How Party Promo verification photo should look like
September 09, 2009One of the main and the easiest ways of getting verified in a PartyPoker promotion is providing a picture of you and your ID with visible face and name. Of course, we are able to enlarge the picture and check whether it has been modified, photoshopped or changed in any other way in order to cheat in PartyPoker promotion. Do not even try. We will lose $25 and you will lose everything once you get caught by the PartyPoker fraud investigation team for having multiple accounts.
Let’s get back to pictures. Incorrect pictures, to be precise, as it is easier to tell what NOT to do.
Please do not upload pictures with general views of nature or Windows sample pictures like this one. Our Support Angel cannot imagine your name and face, therefore will not verify your application, so do not waste our time.
Please do not upload pictures of your favorite poker pros. We have lots of very nice and good quality pictures made by our live reporting team, so it will not help you to get verified. We also know what are the nicknames of these pros in various poker rooms. And those who play in PartyPoker already have their real money accounts, therefore they cannot participate in this promo.
Please do not upload the pictures of naked women. Our main Support Angel is also a woman, so another nude lady can cause quite a different outcome than expected. Instead of getting verified, you can be rejected for spamming the site with inappropriate images.
Did we mention that you should send the picture of you and your ID? If you send only your picture in nice surroundings and no ID, we will not verify your application.
Please do not try showing off your photoshop skills and do not put your picture inside someone else's ID. If we cannot be sure if the ID is real or whether you have edited the picture or the name, we will not be able to issue you with the bonus. You know, it is against the law to provide someone with a fake document.
If you think that my picture will go through, you are also wrong. My picture and ID are just given as an example and I am pretty sure I have no identical twin brothers in 15 countries J.
So the best pictures are made by taking your camera or a cell phone and simply taking the picture. Make sure that your name in the ID can be seen as well as both of your faces before uploading it. If you have to go into trouble while trying to decide if it's really you and that your name is seen clearly, please make another shot in a daylight (the camera flash sometimes makes laminated ID unreadable). Try to decrease the picture a little and see if you can read the ID data. It is too small to be cut out and used anywhere else, so your personal information is safe.
Please remember, that every time we detect the picture which lacks brightness or is inappropriate, we send an email with the reason of rejection. Just check your email Spam box, because sometimes emails from @pokernews.com get there. Hopefully, these examples will help you to take a good picture and you will get verified very quickly.

Blog and picture statistics (UPDATED)
June 15, 2008New feature - blog and your photos stats is introduced. It is still very simple, but anyway it will help you to see how popular your blog is and where you got the visitors from.
Blog statisticsIf you click in My Menu>Statistics you see the blog views for the present month. Views are divided to the Friends, Members and Genaral views. Also you can see how much comments your blog entries have.
If you click on "referrer" tab you can see where the visitors came from. Sort by the period of time, for example 'This week" or "This month".
I can assure we will develop this feature in future.
UPDATE: we have launched the update of the statistics. Now you can see the nicknames of those members who have visited your blog. Just look below your picture stats.
