It could be neither and it's just I am on an amazing upwards variance trip. To date in August I've won three $10 Sit and Gos, finished second in another though my finest performance was finishing third in Betfair SNG having been down to just 70 chips!

My gut feeling is that the games are getting softer -maybe due to an increase of fish around the WSOP time. There is more limping going on than at an A+E Xmas party. Now this suits my fishy ways as I can generally see a flop pretty cheaply and then apply presure at the necessary time.

Thanks to some advice off people on the RTR forum (more...) my aggression levels have increased and my heads-up play is stronger - thanks especially to Pud's Poker (more...) and Kenn (more...).

It's always great to be confident when things are going well but here's my plan. Keep winning these (soft) Betfair SNGs and hopefully raise enough money to enter a WSOPE satellite (more...). From looking at the site, it looks like my best chance is forking out $550 for the main qualifier because of work I can't afford the time to play any lower stakes satellites - though there are plenty every day.

Therefore, I have a month to earn $550. I really have no chance but a man has to be allowed to dream...
