Online Gambling Growing In Germany.
April 08, 2008Despite online gambling loosing more than 80% of market share due to UIGEA ( Unlaw full Internet Gambling Enforcement Act ) in the United States, gambling has gained momentum through growing European markets. Worlds' biggest public listed online gambling firms like party Poker, pacific poker lost 90% of its business from U.S, but has comes back strong ever since they launched their advertising campaigns in attracting major chunk of players from Germany, Netherlands , Spain and other growing EU countries.
According to a research more than 2,00,000 to 29,00,000 players gamble online regularly in Germany, despite gambling being banned in the German country too. Netherlands along with Spain is even attracting handsome amount of player sing ups. In order to boost the popularity of online poker, famous German Tennis star 'Boris Becker' was seen in an online poker ad campaign.
