Karl-Heinz Metz is a full time IT Specialist and part time poker player. His passion for poker has seen him travel the globe to play in some of the world's biggest poker events. Karl started playing poker three years ago. "I always played cards and one day my friend showed me how to play Texas Holdem," says Karl. "I found it to be an exciting game and started reading up on it and playing online." Karl is most comfortable when playing No Limit Texas Holdem and 7 Card Stud. The German's favourite poker player is Daniel Negreanu for two reasons: He is a very disciplined player and he seems to be an all round nice guy. Karl has won many packages to live events including the 2007 PokerNews Cup Australia, 2008 PokerNews Cup Austria, and most recently, the 2009 Aussie Millions. He is very happy about now winning a 2009 PokerNews Cup Alpine Package. How will this Team PokerNews veteran fare against some of Europe's finest? @Baracca i spoke to Carbon support.They need instructions from PNEWS. But Trish and the others had to travel from Australia to Austria, so they were "in the air" the last 2 days and so they could not work. Thats also the reason why Darizas and others (like myself) are not to see as members now.
