I'm the best, Screw the rest...
Having played poker on and off for the past eight years, it wasn't until January 2008 that Jacob Rasmussen started taking it seriously as he slowly started to reap the benefits of the game. "Ever since I was a child, I always liked card games. I especially liked poker because it was money based... My dad played with me back then - so thank you, dad!" comments Jacob of his early memories of poker. These days, the student mostly plays poker online with a preference for No Limit Texas Holdem. Winning a $12,500 Aussie Millions Package is Jacob's biggest success to date and he felt both relieved and amazed at the win. "Relieved that after three 2nd place finishes and five 3rd place finishes in the last month, I finally got first place... Amazed that it turned out to be such a big one!" explains Jacob. The Dane celebrated by going out with his wife and 10 month old son. In between his time at the tables, he enjoys watching movies, poker shows and wrestling. This will be his first experience at a major poker tournament and his first visit to Australia. When asked to share other interesting things about himself, Jacob replies, "The people that know me call me crazy, I guess that just needs to be experienced."
