As the Team continues to grow in size, so does the quality of talent thanks to players like Rene Riomar. Rene hails from Harju, Estonia and is a full time entrepreneur by day. He started playing poker after his brother recommended he try out the game... that was a year and a half ago. Now the Estonian plays poker both live and online and his weapon of choice is No Limit Texas Holdem. He admits to spending more time playing tournaments rather than cash games. The modest man claims he hasn't yet won anything remarkable at the tables and felt "pleased" about his $12,500 Aussie Millions Package win. He has yet to celebrate this win, but we hope Harju will join us and the Team in a joyous celebration when he flies to sunny Melbourne in January 2009. This will be his first visit to Australia and his first experience at a major poker tournament.
