He started playing poker seven years ago simply for fun. He admits to playing both live and online but prefers the excitement of the live poker experience. His favourite variant of poker is No Limit Texas Holdem with a preference for tournaments over ring games. Winning a package to the 2007 PokerNews Cup Australia was a huge success for him, and now a $12,500 Aussie Millions Package - how does he feel? "I was very happy to win the trip and I am excited about the opportunity to play in such a coveted tournament," explains Peter. "I celebrated with a beer and a hug to my wife and daughter." Away from the tables, Peter is a loving family man. This will be his second visit to Australia and his second attempt at a major poker tournament.
