There are millions of dollars to be won in poker, so why not me?
Cedric Alexandre managed to outlast a large field to emerge victorious taking home his very own $5,600 PokerNews Cup Australia Package. The technician started playing poker three years ago. Why? Well, there were millions in dollars to be won, “so why not me?” Now Cedric plays poker both live and online with a preference for both No Limit Texas Holdem and Omaha. He admits to enjoying the tournament style of play, rather than ring games. Winning this package is Cedric’s biggest poker success to date and he admits “it is a real dream.” After his win, he proceeded to celebrate with his friends and other players. When not working on his game play, the Frenchman is also passionate about music. Cedric is serious about a career in poker and devotes a large portion of his spare time to studying strategy videos. He hopes to some day be able to play with the pros. This will be his first appearance at a major poker tournament and his first visit to Australia.
