No stress!
We must be doing something right at PokerNews as we continue to welcome even more returning Team PokerNews Members. André Andrade attended the first PokerNews Cup on European shores this past April in the beautiful city of Salzburg, Austria. He returns again for his first visit to Australia when he graces the felt of this coveted event. The student started playing poker two and a half year ago. “I saw it on Eurosport and got curious… I then asked a friend who was already playing to teach me.” André can mostly be found playing poker online, but does enjoy the occasional live game from time to time. His favourite variations are Texas Holdem, Omaha and Chinese poker. Winning a $7,000 PokerNews Cup Australia Package is André’s biggest win to date and he felt “ecstatic!” André comments, “I jumped around the house for a good half an hour while making phone calls to my girlfriend and friends to tell them I won this great package.” Like most Portugal natives, Andre is also immensely passionate about football. He is no stranger to live tournaments having played in numerous events across Europe. We look forward to watching André and the rest of Team PokerNews battle it out at the 2008 PokerNews Cup Australia!
