Canadian student, Fabien Roy joins our coveted list of Team PokerNews members this October at the felt of the Southern Hemisphere’s premiere poker venue. Fabien has only been playing poker for a year and can now proudly boast a $5,000 PokerNews Cup Australia Package win to his name. He admits he started playing poker “for fun” and now mostly players online. His favourite poker variations are Texas Holdem and Pot Limit Omaha. Fabien also enjoys playing sit-n-gos and tournaments. Winning this $5,000 package made Fabien feel “really good… I jumped three feet high.” On how he celebrated his win, Fabien comments, “I went bowling with my friends.” When not honing his skills at the felt, the Canadian plays a variety of sport including hockey, soccer and a bit of tennis.
