Giuseppe Chieregatti returns to make his second appearance as a member of the coveted Team PokerNews...
It is always a pleasure to be introducing returning Team PokerNews Members. Giuseppe Chieregatti represented our Team at the first PokerNews Cup on European shores when he hit the felt at the 2008 PokerNews Cup Austria in April. He returns again flying half way across the world to the land Down Under to grace the event that’s got everyone talking – the 2008 PokerNews Cup Australia. What’s his story so far? Giuseppe has been playing poker for over 30 years. “I like the competition and I like studying the other players,” says Giuseppe. Now he plays poker both live and online with a preference for Texas Holdem and H.O.R.S.E. “I play more tournaments than ring games,” explains Giuseppe. His biggest poker success is winning packages to both PokerNews events. “I was very happy,” says Giuseppe about his recent $7,000 package win. Outside the poker scene, Giuseppe enjoys watching movies, reading and travelling. Although he is now permanently based in the fashion capital of Italy, Giuseppe did spend ten years of his life in Nigeria. This will be his first visit to Australia.
