Congratulations to Ivan Stoyanov from Varna, Bulgaria for taking home a $7,000 PokerNews Cup Australia Package. Ivan’s journey with poker started three years ago when he started playing “for fun and money.” Now the Bulgarian plays poker both live and online with a preference for No Limit Texas Holdem tournaments. Winning this package is Ivan’s biggest poker success and he admits he felt “very good.” He celebrated by having a drink with his friends. Ivan fills his free time with gambling, watching movies, football and “drinking good whiskey.” He enjoys playing in huge poker events including Pacific Poker’s $3 Million Guaranteed World Poker Crown and the recent 2008 Balkan PokerNews Challenge.
