Hi all,
well I completed part1 -- a freeroll into the main event -- now part2 of the masterplan - Win it !
I wont bore you with a blow by blow commentary on my freeroll, but the hilights were a double up on hand one with a set, stealing a lot near the final table bubble to keep average chip stack, passive play on final table till only 5 players left, then the brilliance of doubling up three times in 5 hands with: K8s, QQ, QQ. I let a maniac who was allin every hand eventually knock out the others, I olled over to his allins at headsup until I actually had some cards. From way behind in stack size, I won my three calls of his allins with AJ, 88, AQ.
I gues it could have gone wrong at many points, the key points for me was the K8s doubling me up on final table and a maniac to play against heads up.
Looking forward to meeting the G, want to discover if he is truly a great guy or just the reverse. He was very quiet in Amsterdam.
