Welcome aboard David Bax! Englishman David has been playing poker for the last two years. “There was a low entry fee tournament in a casino and I finished third,” explains David on why he started playing poker. Now the Administrator enjoys playing poker both live and online with a preference for tournament-style play. David’s favourite variation of poker is by far No Limit Texas Holdem. Winning a $12,500 Team PokerNews freeroll made David feel “great… I always imagined winning the Main Event from a freeroll!” He proceeded to celebrate by having a meal in a good restaurant an hour after the win. David recently won another online poker tournament claiming the second prize title and taking home $8,500 in prize winnings. He also made an appearance at the 2006 European Poker Tour in Amsterdam. Poker aside, David also enjoys “speed chess, backgammon, Magic the Gathering, bridge and gliding.” Having previously held a job as a Croupier in London during the 1970s, David will feel right at home in Las Vegas.
