David Lemke
The story
“[watching] Celebrity Poker Showdown” is what got him started.
David Lemke has been playing poker for three years. He admits that “[watching] Celebrity Poker Showdown” is what got him started. Now the electrician enjoys playing poker both live and online and has a preference for No Limit Texas Holdem. He also enjoys both tournaments and ring games equally. David’s biggest poker success to date is winning this $12,500 World Series of Poker Freeroll. When he found out the good news, he felt “really good” and proceeded to celebrate by “drinking.” Poker isn’t this American’s only passion – he is a qualified Kung Fu instructor and was the “former vocalist for an experimental rock band.” This will be his first experience at a major poker tournament and his first time at the WSOP. Stay tuned to PokerNews.com to watch David and the rest of Team PokerNews battle it out at the 2008 World Series of Poker.
