David Lemke speelt sinds drie jaar poker. Hij zegt dat “[watching] Celebrity Poker Showdown” is wat hem kennis deed maken met het spel. Tegenwoordig speelt de electricien zowel live als online poker en zijn favoriete spelvariant is No Limit Texas Hold’em. Hij speelt zowel toernooien als ringgames. Davids grootste pokersucces is zijn overwinning in de World Series of Poker freeroll. Toen het goede nieuws tot hem doordrong, voelde hij zich “really good” en nam hij een borrel om het te vieren. Poker is niet de enige passie van deze Amerikaan, hij is een gekwalificeerd Kung Fu instructuer en “former vocalist for an experimental rock band.” Dit zal wel zijn eerste ervaring op een groot toernooi als de World Series zijn.
