Full-time online poker player, Dominique Tremblay started playing this much-loved game five years ago. “I used to watch late night poker on television… I loved it and from there I started playing,” explains Dominique. He admits to mostly playing live games at his local casino and manages to fit in an online game every so often. His favourite variation of poker is No Limit Texas Holdem with a preference for tournaments over ring games. Winning a $12,500 Team PokerNews Package is Dominique’s biggest win to date, but he has also enjoyed considerable success whilst playing in his local casino. He felt an “amazing feeling” after his current win. “I jumped up and down [before] I got up to call all my poker buddies to tell them the great news.” He has yet to celebrate but assures us that he will celebrate in style when the weekend approaches. The father of one is a native of Quebec, Canada (now living in Spain) and is an avid gamer, enjoying many different types of online games including World of Warcraft (WoW). This will be his first time at the World Series. “Getting a shot at the WSOP is like a dream come true,” explains Dominique.
