Jonathan Canto has been playing poker for two years. He admits what got him started was “The ‘money-maker’ effect – I started watching the World Series* and got hooked.” Now the Management Consultant enjoys playing poker live, but “I’m used to multi-tabling online so the live action gets slow for me at times.” Jonathan’s favourite style of poker is No Limit Texas Holdem with a preference for ring games. When he won a $12,500 Team PokerNews Freeroll, Jon had “an adrenaline rush… a natural high.” He goes on to explain, “I had to wake up at 4am to play the tourney, but it was well worth the time.” How did this Filipino native celebrate his win? “I went out drinking with friends, of course.” Poker aside, Jonathan considers himself a “gaming junkie” and spends his spare time playing golf, pool and video games.
