Háttértörténet

I couldn't believe it!

It was about two years ago when Runnar Lindepuu started to take his poker career seriously. An employee of a pharmaceutical company, Runnar started playing poker because “my friends started playing and that got me interested too.” Now he enjoys playing poker both live and online with a preference for tournaments over ring games. He admits some of his favourite poker memories are made when playing “home games with friends over beers.” The Estonian considers winning a $12,500 Team PokerNews Freeroll his biggest win to date and he admits to being in shock at the news. “I couldn’t believe it!” Runnar had no time to celebrate his win as it was late and he went straight to bed. When not busy at the tables, Runnar also enjoys playing ninepin bowling and orienteering. This will be his first experience at a major poker tournament and his first time at the World Series. Stay tuned to PokerNews.com to watch Runnar and the rest of Team PokerNews battle it out to become crowned poker champion of the world!
